Sermon Report

Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Vandenberg. The text was Matthew 18:1-14, and he focused on 2-3. In this text, the Disciples, ask Jesus who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus replies by taking a young child and saying that to be the greatest in Heaven you must become a small child. The theme, topic, or whatever you would like to call it, was becoming like little children before God. Pastor Vandenberg stated that children were considered useless, and of little worth, almost slaves. Jesus says that to be great in the eyes of God, we have to serve others.
