Sermon Report

Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Vandenberg, soon to journey to the Netherlands and take up the pastorship (Did I invent a new word?) of a new congregation. Anyway, he preached this sermon on Philippians 3:1-21, on counting all things as loss for Christ. He taught that we must think that everything that happens to us was ordained by Christ, and will eventually lead to his, and our's, if you are a Christian, glory. Also, it is worth mentioning that two Sundays from now will be Pastor Vandenbergs last sermon here and then he will return to the Netherlands the following day.
